Meg - FHS '12 Senior | Tony, Wis. Portrait Photographer

I had a lovely time traveling north to my hometown to photograph Meg. I loved the locations we chose and her selection of outfits AND her willingness to try anything. :) We also had a beautiful night (minus the bugs) with buttery sun for photos. I couldn't ask for more from a shoot!

Now ... on with Meg's portraits! :)

Brandon - Senior Portraits | Sparta, Wis. Portrait Photographer

Meet Brandon. He's a senior at Sparta High School. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness he put into choosing the locations for his senior portraits - all locales had meaning. First we headed to a relative's cabin where he likes to hunt. Then it was off to his parent's house for photos with his bike, and finally to the school where he plays football and runs track ... and, of course, studies!

I'm still scheduling senior sessions. If you'd like more information on what the JSP senior session is all about, email me at jessica[at]jessicasandsphotography[dot]com.

Have a great rest of your Wednesday/early Thursday morning!

Alex & Alie - Wedding | Merrimac, Wis. Wedding & Portrait Photographer

Alex & Alie
July 30, 2011
Ceremony & Reception: Devil's Head Resort, Merrimac
Florist: Stoughton Floral, Stoughton
Cake: Weber's Bakery, Lodi

Sharing in a couple's wedding day is an honor in my book. I love every minute of it - from the guys buttoning up their suit coats and walking down the aisle to the bride putting on her gorgeous gown and dancing until the last song has played. I love it. All of it. Sharing in Alie & Alex's day was a pleasure ... I loved watching them interact with their friends and families and, most of all, with each other. The way they looked at each other during their vows, or how they touched one another's faces, or the way they held hands just totally melted my heart and made me feel so blessed to be a part of it all. :)

I love my job. I LOVE MY JOB! :)

Ok. Enough of me being sappy. Enjoy the photos!

Have a great day, everyone!

As Alie & Alex were to say their vows, the officiant asked everyone who came with their partner to hold hands. What a great touch!

I usually cry twice at a wedding - the vows and the mother/son dance. But at this wedding there was a third time ... Alex gave a shout out to his parents and Alie's parents for being great relationship role models. It was really sweet!
