Shooting for me ...

There are days when I get the itch to shoot something just for myself. Today I set out to just "look" at my surroundings. It seems like each day breezes by with so much beauty going unnoticed. I'm guilty of letting those little things slip by without a second glance. Here are a few photos I took while on a walk this morning - I really looked at all there was to see. :)

Spending a couple hours with this family was just what I needed. They all kept me smiling and laughing - couldn't have asked for a better session!

Nichole & Drew - Iowa Wedding Photographer

I couldn't have asked for better weather or better locations while second shooting a Nichole & Drew's wedding in Iowa with the super FAB Krystal Muellenberg Photography. Nichole & Drew were so much fun to photograph - they had so many lovely, lovely, lovely locales picked out for us to shoot! Their wedding party, family, and friends also knew how to celebrate!

My husband's childhood friend and his wife are expecting their second baby in a few short weeks. I was super honored when they asked me to photograph them before baby #2 arrives! I can't wait to see them all again once the baby arrives ... you'll get to see baby too! :)
