One lovely, little family...

We spent last Saturday evening in Chippewa Falls with hubby's cousin's family chatting it up and taking some photos. What a great way to spend some time! Isn't this family adorable? We think so! Thanks, M, C, D, and Q, for inviting us up and hanging out. It's always so much fun to see you! xxoo

Natural inspiration ...

A few weeks ago I visited my parents and had the opportunity to snap a few pix in some beautiful gardens that I wish I could call my own! I really, really, really appreciate the beauty of spring flowers with or without a few drops of rain! Happy Tuesday!

It's official!

Sometimes you need someone to give you a gentle push to get you where you need to go. My husband, parents, and friends (and fellow photogs) have been pushing me for a few years to turn my hobby into a business - Jessica Sands Photography. The last push I needed was having a baby and knowing that life was too short to not walk down the path of uncertainty that comes with following your dreams.


I'm energized by using photography to document the important days of my client's lives - the excitement of a wedding, and commitment of marriage; the quiet of a sleepy newborn nesting in his mother's arms; the toddler full of energy; a high school senior embarking on a new chapter of their life; and families who hold each other close while forgetting about the camera pointed towards them.


I welcome you to join me on this new journey that is Jessica Sands Photography, and I thank every one of you (especially my husband) who has pushed me to do what I LOVE! I'd especially like to thank Aaron Johnson for the SWEET logo design!
