Carlson's Quarters | Tomahawk, Wis. Portrait & Commercial Photographer

Hubby and I capped off our visit to Tomahawk by meeting up with the Carlson family, the owners of Carlson's Quarters. This new-to-the-area business relocated from Texas and holds a lot of promise. Ashleigh, a Baylor Equestrian Team alumnus, has plans to renovate the property and to eventually offer summer camps. Currently, Ashleigh boards and trains horses, as well as gives riding lessons from beginners to advanced. The location is gorgeous and quiet and the people, well, they are pretty awesome too!

Thanks, Carlson family, for a fun afternoon! Next time I WILL ride a horse! :)

I also snapped a few photos of the farm, the indoor horse arena, and its residents! :)

Buckshot Taxidermy - Tomah, Wis. Commercial & Portrait Photographer

Shooting commercial images for Troy of Buckshot Taxidermy was an unexpected fun little project! I was pretty nervous to take on this job, but in the end, I really enjoyed it and now have a deeper appreciation for taxidermy and taxidermists! Buckshot Taxidermy is located in Tomah, Wis.

Cura Salon | Commerical Project - Sparta, Wis.

Cura (Latin for "care for") Salon has been a concept in owner, Mary Nading's, mind for years. Her dream of opening a salon that offers services and surroundings that make guests feel well and cared for recently became a reality. I was excited to be asked to shoot some commercial images for them! To learn more about the salon's mission and services, check out their Facebook page.

Have a great Wednesday, everyone!

This dress needs a home | Wisconsin Commercial & Portrait Photographer

This custom-made dress showed up at my house last week, just in time for my niece to slip it on and model for me. The dress is for sale and Shelly gracefully agreed to wear it while I took some shots for my friend, Dan, who has been hired to sell the gown on Ebay. If you are interested in learning more about this dress (size 4(ish)), shoot an email to Dan at dansauctions(at)live(dot)com.

Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you all have a WONDERFUL day!! :)
