I took this pic yesterday to try to motivate myself to start unpacking Christmas decorations. The boxes made their way upstairs thanks to hubby, but are still sitting unpacked in the dining room. Maybe today is the day ... that is, if the little man cooperates!

13 weeks ago our lives changed...

I've been bad ...

I've missed two days in Project 365. I've had a horrible time getting around. Seems that my knees and feet are paying the price for all the weight I gained while being pregnant. We're trying a few things - alternating heat and ice; staying off my feet as much as possible (despite tending to baby's needs); and wearing slippers around the house. Keep your fingers crossed that I start feeling better soon. I miss our daily walks and just being able to stand/walk without pain.

I have to start this post by saying that I have WONDERFUL friends! J and A know I'd like to venture a little deeper into my photography hobby, so they asked me to capture some moments of them with their daughter, RR. She was exactly two weeks old when I took these photos. A and I were pregnant together and so to get together and talk babies is so fun, and to take pictures of them is even better. I'm a fan of stained glass lamps, especially the one in this photo. The colors always catch my eye when I look at it from afar, but when I got up close, I discovered the bubbles and thought it added a little more character!
